February 12, 2016 - Shareholder Rights in International Investment Arbitration

New York City area alumni and guests braved the cold to meet at Shearman & Sterling on Friday, February 12, 2016 for a Breakfast Roundtable with Yas Banifatemi and Emmanuel Gaillard (Partner and Founder/Head, respectively) of Shearman’s International Arbitration Group. The discussion was moderated by Professor Daniel Markovits ’00, Guido Calabresi Professor of Law at Yale Law School. The group had the opportunity to examine the key consequences stemming from the ability of shareholders to bring claims for injuries suffered by a company through the panel discussion and Q&A that followed.
