On Wednesday, June 29, over 100 Yale Law School alumni and their guests enjoyed a dynamic breakfast panel discussion of the Supreme Court’s Term, generously hosted by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in their New York City office. Linda Greenhouse ’78 M.S.L., the Knight Distinguished Journalist-in-Residence and Joseph Goldstein Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School, was an insightful moderator. Panelists Boris Bershteyn ’04 J.D., Partner, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, New York, NY; Andrew J. Pincus ’77 B.A., Partner, Mayer Brown, Washington, D.C. and Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law and Supervising Attorney at Yale Law School; Paul M. Smith ’79 J.D., Partner, Jenner & Block, Washington, D.C.; and Kenji Yoshino ’96 J.D., Chief Justice Earl Warren Professor of Constitutional Law, NYU Law School provided thoughtful and wide-ranging analyses of the Justices’ opinions, followed by a spirited Q & A session at the conclusion.
