On Saturday evening, May 14, Miami-area alumni gathered at the home of hosts Fred ’90 and Carolina Phillips to examine and discuss the implications of the Obergefell decision. Guest speaker William Eskridge, Jr. ’78, John A. Garver Professor of Jurisprudence, Yale Law School, offered insights and moderated a fascinating discussion about family law, gay rights, and religion in the aftermath of this landmark U.S. Supreme Court case.
