June 1, 2016 - YLSA of Denver: "Libertarian Gun Control and Voluntary Taxation"

On June 1, thirty Denver-area YLS, SOM, and Yale College alumni gathered for a reception at the Renaissance Denver Downtown Hotel. They were treated to a most thought-provoking presentation by Ian Ayres ’86, William K. Townsend Professor of Law at Yale Law School and Professor at Yale's School of Management. In his interactive presentation, Professor Ayres argued that by adopting freedom-enhancing government policies, hundreds of gun deaths might be prevented each year, and millions of Americans might volunteer to pay additional taxes.
