The program was held at The Century Association in New York City. Moderated by Roberta Romano ’80, YLS Sterling Professor of Law and Director of the YLS Center for the Study of Corporate Law, our distinguished panelists were Stephen Deane, Investor Engagement Advisor, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Office of the Investor Advocate; Natalie Denburg, Associate Professor of Neurology, the University of Iowa College of Medicine; Thomas M. Mierswa, Jr., Executive Director, Branch Advisory Group, Legal and Compliance Division, Morgan Stanley; and Joseph Brady, Executive Director, North American Securities Administrators Association. Together, they offered a multi-disciplinary examination of this growing and deeply troubling issue.
