June 22nd, 2013 YLSA of Southern California, Tobin Memorial Brunch
It was a perfect Southern California day as over 70 YLS alumni, as well as current and newly admitted students, gathered on June 22 at the beautiful Pasadena home of hosts, Christine Adams ’94 and Jim Asperger, for a brunch honoring Stanley E. Tobin ’58. Guests enjoyed getting together over a delicious summer spread while hearing newly appointed YLS professor, Cristina Rodríguez ’00, speak on “The Prospects for Immigration Reform.” An engaging Q&A session gave folks the chance to discuss the various challenges facing immigration reform and gain perspective from one of the country’s leading immigration scholars.
