January 4th, 2013 YLS Reception and Dinner on the occasion of the Annual AALS Meeting

It was an absolutely splendid evening on Friday, January 4 when YLS law teachers from around the country and New Orleans YLS alums gathered at the home of Max Nathan '60 and Fran Swan. Law teachers had a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with colleagues from other law schools, while enjoying the warm hospitality of Max and Fran. Delicacies of the New Orleans area were on the menu as attendees participated in a vigorous discussion with Dean Post about the various challenges of law teaching and the law teaching market in 2013. Dean Post gave the guests a description of the exciting new Yale Law School Ph.D. program that will begin with its first "class of students" in the fall of 2013.
